Job summary

NewRocket is seeking an AI Engineer at campus and graduate level to design, develop, test, and deploy AI-enabled solutions for enterprise clients. You will prototype Claude-powered and other AI capabilities and collaborate with product, data science, and consulting teams to deliver practical, scalable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed degree in CS/Engineering/AI.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or similar languages.
• Foundational understanding of software engineering concepts, APIs, databases, source control, cloud apps.
• Exposure to generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, ML, data science, automation concepts.
• Familiarity with LLM concepts like context windows, embeddings, RAG, tool use, outputs, evaluation.
• Familiarity with Git, REST APIs, Docker, cloud AI services.
• Strong problem-solving, curiosity, and learning in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy AI-enabled solutions for enterprise clients.
• Prototype and deliver scalable AI capabilities with Claude and other providers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into tech solutions.
• Apply responsible AI practices and safety considerations.
• Document solution behavior and communicate findings to stakeholders.
