Job summary

Pomona College seeks an Assistant Director, Campus Advocacy Resources Education and Support (CARES) to plan, coordinate, and implement holistic education programs focused on preventing violence and supporting survivors. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant supervisory experience with student staff and crisis support services.
• Knowledge of Title IX, Clery, FERPA, and campus violence prevention best practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate campus violence prevention training and education programs.
• Supervise CARES Campus Advocates and provide ongoing training and support.
• Develop strategic plans for preventing sexual violence and discrimination on campus.
• Collaborate with Title IX/Clery teams, Communications, and partner offices on policy and publications.
• Provide initial care and referral services to individuals reporting violence or discrimination.
• Monitor compliance records and manage training budgets for peer programs.
