Job summary

University of California, Riverside in Riverside, CA seeks an Assistant Director of Prevention Education to design and implement a wide range of campus health promotion and education programs, in collaboration with community outreach partners.

The role also serves as a California Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Counselor for survivors, providing brief crisis assessment and intake support, with back-up coverage for the survivor support team when needed. This is a full-time on-site position.

Responsibilities

• Using advanced and specialized expertise, the Assistant Director of Prevention Education designs and implements a wide variety of health promotion, education programs for the campus, and in conjunction with community outreach programs.
• Duties also include acting in the capacity of a California Sexual Assault/Domestic Violence Counselor for survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking by providing brief crisis assessment and intake support to community members. Position may also provide back-up or fill-in support for survivor support team when needed.
