Job summary

Wabash College seeks an Associate Director of Admissions who leads the campus-based recruitment team, runs territory recruitment in the Indianapolis metro area, and conducts admission interviews with prospective students and families. The role reports to the Senior Associate Director and the Dean, with responsibilities expanding to supervision of Crawfordsville staff starting July 1, 2027.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years in college admissions or sales with a track record of meeting goals.
• Must live in Crawfordsville or Indianapolis area.
• Valid driver's license; travel, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong speaking and writing skills; ability to work with diverse populations.
• Knowledge of Indianapolis-area high schools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Territory recruitment: plan fall/spring travel, visit high schools, fairs, and counselor meetings; build relationships.
• In-office admissions: interview prospects, read applications, coordinate interview process and notes in Slate.
• Lead campus-based team: supervise admissions officers and interns; mentor and develop staff; execute assigned duties.
