Job summary

United Education Institute (UEI College) in Garden Grove, CA is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead the campus Admissions Team. You will staff, train and manage admissions professionals to drive enrollment while ensuring compliance with federal, state, accreditor, and institutional standards.

You will oversee lead distribution, interview candidate enrollments, coach the team toward admissions targets, and manage the department budget in a fast-paced, student-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of sales or customer service experience.
• An additional 2 years of experience as an Associate Director of Admissions or Director of Admissions.
• Thorough understanding of the education admissions process.
• The ability to motivate, build and successfully manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem solving and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, training and managing a compliant Admissions Team.
• Facilitating the enrollment of qualified student applicants.
• Recruiting, training and developing admissions professionals.
• Managing lead distribution to the Admissions Team.
• Monitoring daily/weekly activities to meet admissions objectives.
• Scheduling and conducting interviews of prospective student enrollments.
• Ensuring compliance with enrollment processes and policies.
• Preparing and managing the department budget.
