Job summary

UEI College in Huntington Park, CA seeks a Director of Admissions to lead campus admissions teams, drive enrollment and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations. You will recruit, train and manage staff, monitor performance, and oversee budgeting for the department.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and a deep understanding of the education admissions process, with a focus on ethical standards and student success. On-site work required.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of sales and/or customer service experience is required.
• An additional 2 years of experience in a Director/Associate Director of Admissions role is preferred.
• Thorough understanding of the education admissions process and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Complying with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures, including but not limited to those related to student enrollment.
• Recruiting, training and developing highly talented admissions professionals.
• Managing lead distribution to Admissions Team.
• Monitoring the daily/weekly activities of Admissions Team to ensure admissions objectives are met.
• Conducting second interview of prospective student enrollments.
• Motivating the Admissions Team to meet its admissions objectives while adhering to the highest ethical standards and compliance requirements.
• Managing compliance with student enrollment process, including inquiries, phone screens, and interviews.
• Preparing and managing the department budget.
