Job summary

The University of Maine is seeking a Technical Services Manager for Access Control to oversee technical services for access control across residence halls and other campus facilities. You will coordinate closely with Residential Life, Facilities Management, IT, Campus Security, and UMaine Police to ensure the safety and security of students and staff.

Must hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2–3 years of experience; a Low Voltage Electrician’s license is required within 6 months of

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and 2–3 years of applicable experience.
Proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency in communication technologies including coax, fiber, network and RF distribution.
Low Voltage Electrician’s license to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Oversee technical services related to access control for residence halls and campus facilities.
Coordinate with Residential Life, Facilities Management, IT, Campus Security and UMaine Police to ensure safety and security of students and staff.
Assist in planning and implementing access control systems and alarm systems as needed.
Ensure compliance with university policies and relevant regulations.
