Job summary

Kampgrounds of America, Inc. is seeking a Recreation Attendant to assist the Recreation Lead in planning, organizing, and executing recreation activities at the campground.

You will lead arts and crafts, games, sports, and themed weekends, creating a fun, customer-centric atmosphere for guests of all ages. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and a willingness to promote high standards of professionalism and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in English and able to communicate clearly.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with guests and team members.
• Ability to manage conflicts and maintain a positive guest experience.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, outdoor/indoor recreation environments.
• Basic first aid knowledge and safety awareness.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate events from start to finish and assist in planning the calendar.
• Create supply lists and coordinate with Recreation Lead.
• Take photos and secure photo release documentation as needed.
• Prepare social media posts in coordination with Marketing.
• Set up, run, and break down event equipment and activities.
• Explain game rules and adapt activities for different ages and abilities.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure a clean, professional environment.
