Equity LifeStyle Properties (NYSE: ELS) is seeking a Campground Ranger for its Gladys, Virginia location. You will monitor campground grounds, enforce rules, and ensure guest safety while assisting guests with questions and needs.

The role emphasizes calm judgment in stressful situations, collaboration with teammates, and providing friendly, first-rate service to park guests. Prior experience in security or RV environments is a plus; weekend/holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic reading, writing and math; able to use computer applications.
Collaborative team environment; able to thrive in a group.
Assess situations, exercise good judgment, resolve problems diplomatically.
Excellent customer service and communications; friendly demeanor.
Experience in security or law enforcement, or RV environment is a plus.
Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
Weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

Monitor the property for issues or potential problems.
Ensure property is properly secured.
Enforce resort rules; respond to concerns; contact law enforcement if necessary.
Monitor campground gate; validate access.
Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.
Take camping reservations; check in/out; sell day passes and items.
Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
