Job summary

Equity LifeStyle Properties in Williamsburg, VA is hiring a Campground Ranger. You will patrol the campground, enforce rules, assist guests, and respond calmly to incidents while applying local, state and federal laws.

You will monitor guest access at the gate, perform routine patrols and inspections, handle reservations, check-ins/check-outs, and sell day passes. Weekend and holiday availability, strong customer service, and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills and ability to use computer applications.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
• Ability to assess situations, exercise sound judgment and resolve problems diplomatically.
• Exceptional customer service and communications skills with a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the property with attention to potential problems.
• Ensure the property is properly secured.
• Ensure guests comply with resort rules and contact law enforcement if necessary.
• Monitor guest access at the campground gate and validate entry.
• Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.
• Take camping reservations, check guests in/out and sell day passes.
