Job summary

KCN Campgrounds in Gettysburg is seeking a maintenance supervisor to oversee general upkeep of campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds to KOA standards. You will delegate tasks to staff and follow up on progress to ensure operations run smoothly.

You will manage carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, safety programs, and guest service with a focus on keeping the campground functional and welcoming for guests.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation.
• Intermediate knowledge of chemical properties, handling, and usage.
• Intermediate knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensing.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of delegating out projects and following up on said project.
• Capable of managing a group of employees.
• Ability to lead by example and be a role model.

Responsibilities

• Oversee carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, and maintenance to campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds as directed by the Campground Manager or the owner(s).
• Oversee daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs including pool/spa, lawn mowing, weed eating, landscaping, garbage pick-up, propane pumping, game machines, propane grills, laundry servicing and various equipment upkeep.
• Comply with all KOA, federal, state and local safety programs by adhering to established guidelines in the operation and storage of various equipment, tools, and chemicals.
• Provide superior customer service by being attentive, responsive and helpful to guests needs and report all issues to the Campground Manager or owners.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
