Job summary

KCN Campgrounds in Arlington, TX seeks a Maintenance Technician to oversee general upkeep of campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds, reporting to the General Manager. Responsibilities include basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs, maintaining pool/spa areas, mowing, landscaping, and ensuring safety protocols while delivering friendly guest service.

Requirements: basic knowledge of electrical/plumbing, propane handling, a valid driver’s license, and ability to work

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing equipment and installation.
• Basic knowledge of chemical properties, handling, and usage.
• Basic knowledge of propane and gasoline dispensing.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic carpentry, electrical and plumbing repairs to campground buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds.
• Implement daily, weekly and monthly maintenance and cleaning programs (pool/spa, lawn, landscaping, garbage, laundry).
• Comply with safety programs by adhering to guidelines for equipment, tools and chemicals.
• Provide superior customer service by being attentive and helpful to guests' needs.
