Job summary

The Campaign Finance Division of the State Board of Elections seeks an Applications Systems Analyst I to serve as the primary technical and functional support resource for the modernized Campaign Finance Reporting System. You will develop deep knowledge of the COTS product, NC-specific configurations, and provide advanced support to county admins and state staff.

Responsibilities include analyzing issues, assisting with configuration changes, testing, and coordinating with the vendor on

Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of configurable COTS or SaaS enterprise apps.
Ability to troubleshoot complex application problems, reproduce defects, and identify root causes.
Skill in gathering requirements, documenting user stories and acceptance criteria, and prioritizing enhancements.
Ability to develop and execute test cases, evaluate releases, and document issues and resolutions.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced application support and county assistance; act as escalation resource.
Support configuration and administration; maintain configuration inventory and changes.
Perform business analysis and manage enhancements; prioritize backlog.
Conduct system testing and support releases; validate fixes and changes; coordinate with vendor.
