Job summary

Verizon is seeking a Marketing Specialist, Defend Activation & Orchestration, to join the Base Marketing team in a hybrid role. You’ll help configure and deploy the Defend activation program for Business Markets, Global Enterprises, and Public Sector customers.

The role blends marketing strategy with technical execution across Web, App, Email, SMS, and care channels, ensuring consistent Save offers and retention journeys.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four+ years of work experience.
• Four+ years of relevant marketing operations or churn management experience.
• Experience with marketing automation platforms (CRM/MA).

Responsibilities

• Campaign Setup & Activation: Translate marketing strategies into live, customer-facing offers and retention journeys.
• Audience Targeting & Data Management: Manage target lists and segments to reach the right customers.
• Omnichannel Campaign Alignment: Coordinate timing and offer consistency across channels.
• Campaign Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Track performance and quickly spot and resolve misfires or friction points.
• Marketing QA & Offer Validation: End-to-end testing of offers, badges, and pricing updates.
