Job summary

AmeriCorps VISTA seeks a full-time specialist to help build and strengthen Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions for Veterans and families in Texas.

You will assist with portal architecture, governance, security, and documentation while preparing training materials and a multi-year Roadmap for program delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to translate requirements into technical portal concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud-based portal architectures and security basics.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our vision is to reduce the risk of Veteran homelessness and suicide by providing a secure and comfortable healing environment for Veterans and their children to heal and grow. Camp Shield provides SHE THRIVES workshops, mastermind book clubs, peer-to-peer support groups, retreats, financial assistance, and resource referral services, with transitional housing planned for the future.

Member Duties

By assisting with foundational Experience Cloud portal architecture, security, requirements, and prototypes, the VISTA project will strengthen digital access to poverty-alleviating support for Veterans and families. Objectives include defining minimum viable portal requirements and governance; documenting security, identity, data, and solution architecture; building and testing a controlled foundational prototype; and creating technical documentation, staff training, support procedures, and a multi-year roadmap. This virtual capacity-building role will not provide direct case management or independently administer participant services.
