Job summary

The Salvation Army Pine Summit Camp in Big Bear Lake, CA seeks an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day camp operations and upkeep, ensuring pristine spaces for guests in line with its Christian mission.

You will supervise operations staff, coordinate training, and uphold safety standards across facilities and grounds, while supporting guest groups and staff development in a faith-driven campsite environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; BA preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Physical mobility and endurance to perform tasks for long periods.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds or more.
• Must be 21 years or older; team player with supervision experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and upkeep of camp property.
• Train, schedule, and supervise operations staff.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, records of inventory and inspections.
• Manage staff assignments based on camp priorities for usage, safety and maintenance.
• Support camp operations through hands-on tasks (grounds, housekeeping, etc.).
• Assist in hosting groups and guest services.
• Oversee dining-related duties as needed.
