Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day-to-day camp operations, housekeeping, and facilities upkeep at Pine Summit. You will supervise staff, coordinate training, and ensure safety standards align with ACA/CCCA and TSA policies while delivering excellent guest experiences.

Ideal candidates will be hands-on, physically capable, and able to balance administration with field work to maintain pristine camp spaces for guest groups and staff teams.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; BA preferred or combination of education, training and experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Visual and auditory ability to identify hazards of the site and facilities.
• Physical mobility and endurance to stand and walk for long periods; lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise operations staff; train and schedule personnel.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in all work areas and storage spaces.
• Manage inventories and equipment purchases with approval.
• Assist in camp operations; support guest groups and dining activities.
• Partner with Guest Relations to ready camp for arrivals and events.
