Job summary

Wolfoods is seeking an experienced, hands-on Food Service Operations Director to oversee daily culinary and service operations at our top-tier summer camp program. You will lead FOH and kitchen staff, manage budgeting, and ensure allergen safety in a fast-paced, high-volume, on-site environment.

This seasonal, live-in role requires a 6-day, 70-hour week, and living on-site in rustic settings across rural camp sites.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a commercial kitchen leadership role with scratch and institutional cooking.
• ServSafe Manager Certified (Allergens required before start; company-sponsored).
• Strong leadership, budgeting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to live on-site in a rustic setting and work a demanding 6-day/70-hour week.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH and kitchen staff scheduling and training.
• Oversee operations, menu specs, portion control, scratch cooking, and timely meal service.
• Manage inventory, orders, budgets, and daily reporting.
• Serve as liaison between kitchen operations, campers, camp leadership and Wolfoods corporate office.
• Ensure allergen safety and health department sanitation standards.
