Job summary

The Jewish Community Center of Greater Columbus invites applications for Camp Hoover Director, overseeing all aspects of Camp Hoover, the outdoor day camp with waterfront, pool programming, ropes, archery, and traditional camp activities. You will supervise staff, coordinate year-round programming, and lead camper recruitment and engagement.

• Bachelor's degree preferred in education, recreation, social work, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• ACA and DCY licensing familiarity or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead Camp Hoover summer operations and camper wellbeing.
• Recruit, train, and manage summer staff; conduct performance reviews.
• Collaborate with year-round teams for camper recruitment and family engagement.
• Schedule and coordinate program activities with Aquatics and other departments.
• Ensure safety protocols and ACA/DCY standards are followed.
