YMCA of Florida's First Coast is seeking a Property Assistant for Camp Immokalee in Florida. The role focuses on groundskeeping, upkeep of trails and waterfront areas, and assisting with maintenance projects to ensure the camp looks cared for and ready for campers and guests.

The position is part-time (under 30 hours weekly), requiring independent work, safety awareness, and the ability to operate outdoor power equipment under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Experience with groundskeeping, maintenance, or related hands-on work preferred.
• Ability to learn safe operation of outdoor power equipment.
• Basic maintenance skills preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine grounds maintenance, including mowing, weed eating, edging, and debris removal.
• Maintain trails, waterfront areas, barns, and outdoor spaces for safety and enjoyment.
• Operate and maintain grounds equipment and report repairs to the Property Manager.
• Complete minor maintenance and repairs within trained competency.
• Assist with larger maintenance projects and storm cleanup as directed by the Property Manager.
• Support upkeep of the barn and equestrian areas as assigned.
