Job summary

Warm Beach Christian Camps is seeking a Maintenance Staff member to care for 160 acres of grounds, trails and facilities. Join a team of year-round staff, work on varied outdoor tasks and support guests with service-minded professionalism.

The role requires 18+ and the ability to operate tractor, mowers, weed eaters and a chainsaw safely. This is a seasonal, contract position with willingness to adapt to project needs across departments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a sincere love for the Lord and be committed to Christ.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Support the philosophy and goals of Warm Beach Camp Ministries and Black Diamond Camp.
• Willing to accept supervision and guidance.
• Desire to work hard and complete tasks.
• Operate farm equipment safely (tractor, mowers, weed eaters, chainsaw).

Responsibilities

• Assist in caring for play fields, trails and landscaped areas.
• Mow lawns and public areas.
• Weed-eat along fence lines, around buildings and along trails.
• Spray weed control herbicides as needed and directed.
• Leaf blow along paths and trails.
• Maintain habitat restoration plantings by weed eating and spraying.
• Use chainsaw to cut down nuisance or fallen trees.
• Split and stack firewood.
• Follow safety instructions and operate equipment safely.
• Care for equipment and steward supplies.
• Maintain professionalism and customer service.
• Assist with other maintenance work as requested.
• Be available and flexible for other department needs.
