Job summary

Alpha is hiring a Camp Director to lead a cohort of K-3 students, coaching Guides and students to achieve measurable growth using data and classroom observations. The role emphasizes developing people, creating repeatable coaching playbooks, and shaping Alpha's coaching culture across campuses.

You will work in person at a New York City or Miami campus with relocation support. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, plus strong data-driven leadership, are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience with elementary-aged children (ages 5–9).
• Experience leading teams of five or more people, including performance management and hiring decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data, observations, and feedback to achieve measurable improvements.
• Facilitate workshops for K-3 students focusing on communication, resilience, collaboration, accountability, and life skills.
• Lead one-on-one and small-group coaching to connect motivation with academic growth and independence.
• Build and refine coaching playbooks to raise performance across the Guide team.
• Train and mentor Guides while modeling exceptional coaching and facilitation daily.
