Concord Parks and Recreation is seeking Summer Camp Counselors for 2025! Work hours are typically from 7:30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. While applicants do not need valid American Red Cross CPR and First Aid certifications to apply, they must pass the class and present certification cards by June 1. Salary Range: $15.45 to $17.50 hourly, depending on experience

Applicants must be dependable, enjoy working with children, creative, and possess good communication and problem-solving skills. All applicants must have standard First Aid, AED, and Infant & Child and Adult CPR certifications. Prior experience working with children is required. Specialized skills in areas such as special events, arts and crafts, sports, games, and working with school-aged youth are a plus. Applicants must be 17 or older, and those 18 and over are required to pass a Criminal Background Check.
Attendance at in-service training in early June and staff meetings is required.
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Preference may be given to current City employees seeking promotion. If applicants are equally qualified, veterans and residents of Concord, NH, may receive preference in hiring decisions. Positions may be closed without notice after five working days if no specific closing date is provided.
