Job summary

Job description

If you're passionate about making the world a happier place by helping others grow, and about growing your own skills in leadership, group management, collaboration, teaching, and youth development, JCamp has the job for you! We'll provide the mentorship and tools to hone your skills, and you'll get to unplug, hang with campers, and find a place where you belong.

Compensation

$17.87-19.50/hr

Requirements
  • Must have completed junior year of high school
  • Desire and ability to work with children in camp setting
  • Ability to relate to one's peer group
  • Ability to accept supervision and guidance
  • Desire to change behaviors as necessary to continue growth in position and role in Camp
  • Be of good character, integrity and adaptability
  • Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience and self-control
  • Well-developed sense of responsibility, good judgment, common sense
  • Must have understanding of the potential, characteristics and issues of young children
  • Must be sufficiently mature to guide impressionable campers through their time at Camp
  • Must respect the feelings of both children and their parents at all times
