Job summary

Camp Birch Hill in New Hampshire is seeking summer camp counselors for the 2027 season. You’ll lead activities, supervise a cabin with a co-counselor, and help campers create unforgettable memories.

Housing and meals are provided for the duration of the employment. Applicants must be 18 or older and available June 18 through August 8, 2027, with a focus on fun, safety, and teamwork across a close-knit 60‑staff community.

If you are passionate about working with children and looking for a close community, join us for an unforgettable summer!You will spendthe summer playing games and leading activities during the day, enjoying evenings around a campfire,sleeping in a cabin at night,traveling through New England with co-workers on days off, and building close-lasting connections within our small community of 60 staff.

• Belaying / Rock Climbing / High Ropes

• Lifeguarding (or willing to take course)

• Circus Skills (such as: juggling, diablo, devil sticks, slackline)

Camp Birch Hill is a classic New Hampshire summer camp. We are an all-gender camp for ages 6-16 at the foot of New Hampshire's White Mountains that is nestled into the woods against a pond with 2,000ft of waterfront and a private sandy beach. We have a high ropes course, an arts and crafts pavilion, a theater program, sports fields, tennis courts, water sports, and much more. With a focus on fun, our elective program lets campers choose from over 50 activities to create their own personalized schedule. As a counselor, you will work with one co-counselor to supervise a specific cabin of campers, but will get to teach classes and participate in activities with campers and staff across the whole camp.
