Job summary

Camp Cody in Freedom, NH seeks a Summer Camp Counselor to lead a wide range of activities and share a passion for working with campers. You will guide youth through daily life at camp, promoting teamwork and personal growth in a supportive, inclusive environment.

You will be integral in creating a welcoming atmosphere, be a positive role model, and help campers develop confidence and social skills while enjoying outdoor adventures.

Who we are

Camp Cody is a co-ed Summer Camp in Freedom, New Hampshire. Since 1926, we have been providing unique experiences for campers and staff of all ages worldwide. Our Cody team is made up of teachers, athletes, coaches, creatives, hikers, bikers, travelers, and so much more. Together, we provide a safe and fun environment where campers and staff create life-long memories.

What you’ll be doing

As a Summer Camp Counselor, you'll have the chance to lead a wide range of activities. With over fifty activities offered at Camp Cody, we are always looking for counselors with talents in sports, creative arts, lifeguarding, and water activities who can share their passion with campers.

You will be an integral part of creating a supportive, inclusive environment where campers from diverse backgrounds feel welcomed and engaged. Your role involves guiding youth through daily life at camp, promoting teamwork through activities, and encouraging personal growth. This is a great opportunity for those passionate about working with youth and building meaningful experiences!

Salary & benefits

Camp Cody offers a competitive salary ($400 per week, increased based on experience), room and board, staff training, weekly laundry service, camp t-shirts, weekly day-off, access to our snack-stocked staff lounge, and lifelong friendships! International staff salaries may differ slightly to accommodate for sponsoring agency fees.
