Job summary

Sea Colony Recreational Association in Bethany Beach, DE, seeks a part-time Camp Counselor for a seasonal role lasting up to 6 months. You will support program activities, supervise children, and help create a safe, fun environment under guidance from the manager.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, communicates well, and has childcare or teaching experience. CPR certification is preferred but not required; benefits include healthcare and a 401(k) with employer match.

Summary

The Camp Counselor will assist in the oversight care of children while they are participating in programming. This person must be highly responsible, attentive and understanding of children and their needs.

What you'll do

• Care for and ensure that the children of the programs are well supervised and having fun at all times.
• Follow the guidelines of the program set in place by management.
• Provide a safe and fun environment.
• Communicate with the head counselor and manager as needed.

The skills you'll need

• CPR certification preferred but not required.
• At least one year of childcare, counselor, or teaching experience.
• Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment.
