Job summary

Troon is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor for Sea Colony Recreational in Bethany Beach, Delaware. The role supports safety and skill-building for members, with duties including organizing clinics, scheduling lessons, and communicating progress to families.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED, CPR and First Aid, and ASCA certification is preferred. The role offers benefits eligibility and a structured schedule within a hospitality-focused property group.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise swimmers at all times to ensure safety.

• Enforce the rules of conduct.
• Organize and support scheduling of lessons and billing with Wellness Director.
• Communicate with parents and swimmers regarding progress and improvements.
• Maintain all necessary records determined by the department manager.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as required.

Sea Colony Recreational, located in Bethany Beach, DE, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Swim Instructor! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Compensation:

$15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises and observes swimmers at all times to ensure their safety.
• Assists in organizing clinics and private swimming lessons for members as directed by department manager.
• Enforces the rules of conduct.
• Organize and support scheduling of lessons and billing with Wellness Director
• Communicated with parents and swimmers regarding progress and improvement.
• Maintains all necessary records determined by the department manager.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); two to four years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPR, First Aid
• Experience required
• ASCA certification preferred.
