Job summary

Hume Christian Camps is seeking a Concessions Assistant to support camp coffee shops, snack bars, and quick-serve meals at Hume Lake. You will help with cashiering, food prep, and keeping areas clean while delivering friendly, servant-hearted service.

Live-in summer housing is provided at a minimal rate. Must be at least 18, able to work outdoors, and align with the camp's faith commitments.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old at start of employment.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Willingness to perform physical tasks and work indoors/outdoors as needed.
Experience in customer service, food service, or barista preferred.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work under supervision.
Must agree with and support Hume Christian Camps’ Statement of Faith.
Must have a personal commitment to Jesus Christ and a desire to share the Gospel through word and deed.

Responsibilities

Assist with cashiering, cleaning, and prepping quick-serve meals, snacks, coffee, and other products.
Work at assigned location and be flexible to serve where needed (Snack Shop, Hume Coffee Co., Triple P, etc.).
Follow safety procedures and directions from supervisors.
Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude and contribute to a Christ-centered team environment.
Represent Hume Christian Camps’ values and mission through conduct and service.
