Job summary

City of New York seeks a Clerical Associate in the Automated Enforcement Unit to review Notices of Liability and verify camera-based traffic violations. Remote work up to two days per week may be available; new hires must reside in NYC for the first two years. Hours are 35 per week, with assignments across various locations.

Qualifications

• Four-year high school diploma or educational equivalent approved by a state education department or accrediting organization.
• Typing speed of at least 100 keystrokes per minute (20 words).

Responsibilities

• Review Notices of Liability to determine if a vehicle violated NYC traffic laws.
• Examine camera footage (red-light, bus lane, speed cameras) for accuracy.
• Ensure quality of reviewed NOLs and participate in QA testing.
