Job summary

AMDA College of the Performing Arts is seeking dependable and detail-oriented students to join the Classroom Media & Film Production team for the Fall 2026 semester. This Student Worker role offers hands-on experience in camera operation, AV support, and educational technology within classroom and performance settings.

Responsibilities include operating cameras, setting up equipment, transferring footage, and supporting the Mac Lab.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled AMDA student for Fall 2026 semester.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Strong technology skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Professional, reliable, and responsive

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down camera and AV equipment
• Operate cameras during film classes, master classes, performances, and special events
• Transfer and upload footage from classes and events
• Take responsibility for the safety and proper return of AMDA property
• Provide quality control of educational technology
• Provide and change hardware for educational purposes
• Troubleshoot day to day technical issues
• Provide on the ground support for the AV team
• Support management of the Mac Lab (assist students, troubleshoot needs, maintain organization and cleanliness)
• Complete other duties as assigned
