NPAworldwide client is seeking a CAM Engineer in Spartanburg, SC to translate designs into efficient CNC programs for high-precision multi-axis machining. You will support tooling, simulation, probing, automation, and continuous improvement on the factory floor.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering and 12+ years of CAM experience, with Mastercam and Siemens/Mazatrol/FANUC controls experience. Strong attention to detail and timely delivery are essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 12+ years of relevant CAM experience.
• Experience with Mastercam.
• Multi-axis CNC machining experience.
• Experience with Renishaw or Blum probing systems.
• Knowledge of Siemens, Mazatrol or FANUC machine programming languages/controls.
• Experience with tooling design.
• Strong understanding of CAM principles.
• High level of attention to detail and time management.

Mansioni

• Translate CAD models into CNC toolpaths and machine programs.
• Verify solid models against 2D drawings when required.
• Develop and maintain Digital Twins for equipment.
• Select tools, speeds, and feeds based on materials.
• Develop CNC programs and G-code for multi-axis machining.
• Simulate toolpaths to prevent collisions and issues.
• Support automation and lights-out manufacturing initiatives.
• Utilize probing for setup conditions and verification.
• Develop workholding and tooling with engineering.
• Assist machine operators with program updates.
• Ensure CAM program quality and accuracy.
