Under the direction of the Area Superintendent within the Toll Bridge Region, incumbent works with and assists in supervising the work of a crew engaged in Bridge Maintenance, Toll Booth scrubbing, Emergency Roadway Service and Construction work. Incumbent is expected to operate independently in determining and scheduling work to be done. Incumbent uses own judgment within limits of prescribed guidelines. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a State owned or leased vehicle.

The position(s) require(s) a valid and unrestricted Class C driver’s license.
Possession of a valid and unrestricted Class A or Class B commercial driver’s license with P (Passenger/Bus), H (Hazardous Materials), and N (Tank Vehicle) endorsements and possession of a qualified applicator certificate for pesticides issued by Cal‑EPA is desired.
Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a State owned or leased vehicle.
