Job summary

Integrated Care 24 in Norwich is hiring Health Advisors to be the calm first contact for NHS 111 callers, assessing needs and guiding patients to the right care. You'll use NHS Pathways, remain empathetic, and work across multiple IT systems in a fast-paced, supportive team.

The role requires no prior healthcare experience; training is provided, including 5 weeks of full-time study. You must be able to cover weekend shifts, and you'll benefit from generous leave, wellbeing support and career

Qualifications

• You don't need previous healthcare experience; we'll teach the clinical systems and processes.
• Strong communication, empathy and calmness under pressure are essential.
• Ability to navigate multiple computer systems and follow established processes.

Responsibilities

• Answer NHS 111 calls, listen to patients and gather information to assess needs.
• Direct callers to the right care and services based on NHS Pathways guidance.
• Support distressed callers with empathy while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Navigate multiple IT systems and record information accurately.
• Meet quality standards and contribute to safe patient care.
