Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a full-time switchboard operator to support the Piedmont Athens Regional Physician Answering Service, Public Safety dispatch, and on-site communications.

Qualified candidates have a GED or HS diploma and at least one year of call center or dispatch experience; training will cover internal procedures and emergency response protocols.

Qualifications

GED or high school diploma required.
1 year of call center, operator, dispatching, or related office experience required.

Responsibilities

Serve as main switchboard telephone operator for Piedmont Athens Regional and related services.
Assist the Physician Answering Service and Public Safety dispatch.
Co-ordinate emergent public broadcasting within the main facility.
