Job summary

Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. in Atlanta, GA seeks a dynamic Call Center Specialist PRN to support patient referrals, scheduling, and data entry. You will answer calls, verify demographics, and route applicants to appropriate providers.

Responsibilities include processing transfer paperwork, ensuring accurate documentation in multiple systems, and assisting the Mobile Assessment Team as needed. Prior call center experience preferred; high school diploma required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment preferred.

• Coordinates and processes patient transfer documents.
• Ensures accurate documentation in multiple information systems.

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Atlanta, GA is seeking a dynamic and talented Call Center Specialist PRN in the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Call Center Specialist performs administrative functions to include assistance in the processes for managing patient care by monitoring referrals and connecting them to relevant health care providers. Organizing, facilitating, and coordinating the timely evaluation with therapist and the acceptance of patients referred for services, insurance verification and data entry.

Job Duties / Responsibilities

• Answers phones at Behavioral Health Connections and takes demographic information related to the person to be assessed.
• Coordinates and processes patent documents and paperwork for patient transfers.
• Assures all required information is accurately documented within several information system programs.
• Assists Mobile Assessment Team Evaluator with commitment process, paperwork, and transfer process, if necessary.

Qualifications

• Preferred Associate Degree

Experience

• Preferred 1-3 years work related experience
• Prefer knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.
