Visit us online at https://bhconnections.org Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Dallas TX, is seeking a dynamic and talented Call Center Specialist PRN to work 12 hours varied Shifts in the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Call Center Specialist performs administrative functions to include assistance in the processes for managing patient care by monitoring referrals and connecting them to relevant health care providers. Organizing, facilitating, and coordinating the timely evaluation with therapist and the acceptance of patients referred for services, insurance verification and data entry.

• Coordinates and processes patent documents and paperwork for patient transfers.
• Assures all required information is accurately documented within several information system programs.
• Assists Mobile Assessment Team Evaluator with commitment process, paperwork, and transfer process, if necessary.

Preferred 1-3 Years Work Related Experience

Prefer knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.
