Job summary

Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic Call Center Specialist for part-time overnight shifts to support patient care coordination, insurance verification, and data entry.

You will answer phones, collect demographics, process transfers, and document information across multiple systems while collaborating with the Mobile Assessment Team as needed. This role offers a challenging environment with opportunities to contribute to crisis-focused mental health services

Qualifications

• Experience or knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment is preferred.
• Familiarity with psychiatric diagnoses symptomology and related care.
• Understanding basic chemical dependency and age-specific development is a plus.

• Answers phones and records demographic information for assessments.
• Coordinates and processes patient transfer paperwork.
• Ensures information is accurately documented in multiple information systems.
• Assists Mobile Assessment Team Evaluator with commitments and transfers when needed.

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Houston, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Call Center Specialist Part Time overnight shifts to join a the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Call Center Specialist performs administrative functions to include assistance in the processes for managing patient care by monitoring referrals and connecting them to relevant health care providers. Organizing, facilitating, and coordinating the timely evaluation with therapist and the acceptance of patients referred for services, insurance verification and data entry.

Schedule Required (28 Hours weekly)

• Mon, Tue, Wed, and Thur from 2am till 06:45 am
• Sunday 10pm till 7:30am

Job Duties/Responsibilities

• Answers phones at Behavioral Health Connections and takes demographic information related to the person to be assessed.
• Coordinates and processes patent documents and paperwork for patient transfers.
• Assures all required information is accurately documented within several information system programs.
• Assists Mobile Assessment Team Evaluator with commitment process, paperwork, and transfer process, if necessary.

• Preferred 1-3 years work related experience
• Prefer knowledge of crisis intervention and risk assessment, psychiatric diagnoses symptomology, basic chemical dependency, age specific growth and development and crisis and behavior management.
