JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Initiate or handle calls with customers by phone
  • Help customers improve their financial position by understanding their situation, responding with empathy, and creating solutions
  • Educate customers on account terms and payment plans
  • Negotiate and offer solutions for repayment that best suits the consumer and the business
  • Balance scripted conversation with natural rapport, and provide accurate and detailed documentation of account to ensure proper follow-up

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to successfully pass criminal background check, along with a drug screen
  • Authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Windows operating system
- Strong typing skills
- Customer service experience
- Knowledge of financial concepts
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Prior experience in a call center or similar role
- Understanding of medical terminology and billing procedures
