Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a California Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner who can adjudicate complex claims with a strong client partnership mindset. The role supports a flexible, balance-friendly environment with on-site Riverside/Ontario/Roseville locations and potential remote options.

The ideal candidate will analyze claims, negotiate settlements, and keep clients informed while working within established service expectations and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing workers' compensation claims to determine exposure and appropriate resolution.
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions promptly.
