Job summary

bp is seeking a Records and Compliance Analyst to support People & Culture compliance and records management across the United States, with emphasis on California. The role requires critical thinking, confidentiality, and collaboration with Legal and business partners to ensure regulatory adherence.

The ideal candidate will manage sensitive information, perform audits, and develop risk-based recommendations while supporting training and procedural updates. Hybrid office/remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in HR/Business/Legal field.
• 4–5 years in HR, compliance, or records management.
• Experience with employment law and multi-state compliance, CA a plus.
• Strong analytical, detail orientation and risk evaluation.
• Proficient with Excel and professional reporting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze personnel records and documents for compliance with laws.
• Prepare concise summaries, analyses, and reports for Legal and regulators.
• Monitor and update compliance reporting and deadlines.
• Interpret records for adherence to employment laws across states.
• Audit P&C records and processes to identify gaps and risks.
• Respond to inquiries and support training materials on compliance.
