Job summary

WelbeHealth is seeking a Senior Director, Network Strategy to lead provider network strategy and contracting across California, shaping growth and access for participants in a value-based care model.

You will direct a team, drive negotiations with hospitals and health systems, and ensure network adequacy and financial sustainability while collaborating with Finance, Analytics, and clinical leadership to align with enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years experience in provider network strategy and managed care contracting.
• Experience leading negotiations with hospitals, health systems, and large provider organizations.
• Knowledge of network adequacy standards, provider operations, reimbursement methodologies, and value-based care models.
• Experience building provider networks across multiple markets or regions, with focus on California.
• Experience within Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, PACE, or value-based care environments.
• Two years of supervisory experience with mentoring and developing team members.
• Leadership in a matrixed organization with high-performing teams.
