Job summary

FullShift Staffing, LLC is seeking an experienced LVN manager in Pasadena, CA to provide nursing care within scope and ensure patient needs are met in line with standards and policies. The ideal candidate holds a California LVN license (or compact license), has at least 1 year in nursing management, and possesses long-term care experience with familiarity in PointClickCare charting.

Qualifications

Licensed LVN in California, or compact license in a compact state.
Minimum 1 year nursing management experience.
Long term care experience preferred.
Experience with PointClickCare charting.

Responsibilities

Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of Infection Control Manual.
Participates in and assists the Quality Improvement Program.
Uses the Quality Life Manual for patient identification and monitoring.
Notifies departments of patient changes (room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge).
Conducts family and patient education.
Administers medications timely per facility policy.
Administers treatments timely per facility policy.
Receives, transcribes and carries out physician orders as allowed.
Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.
