Job summary

Maschoff Brennan is seeking an experienced consumer class action litigator to join our complex litigation practice. The candidate should have 4+ years of experience handling consumer class actions in federal and California state court, including briefing and arguing class certification motions, class discovery, and working with experts on certification issues.

Preference will be given to candidates who can join our offices in Irvine, Los Angeles, or San Francisco, but remote candidates will be

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Exemplary organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with independence.
• Experience with client interactions and direct communications.
• Excellent analytical and writing skills.
• Bar admission in California.

Responsibilities

• Handle consumer class actions in federal and California state court.
• Brief and argue class certification motions.
• Conduct class discovery and manage class notification/opt-out processes.
• Collaborate with experts on class certification issues.
• Experience with food labeling, privacy, TCPA, or product liability is a plus.
