Children’s Funding Project seeks a Senior Manager/Associate Director to assist in California across movement building, technical assistance, organizing, policy, and advocacy. The role requires strategic leadership, residency in California, and willingness to travel within the state.

The position reports to the Director, with travel in-state and a full-time exempt schedule. Strong experience in youth policy and coalition-building is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional or lived experience in senior management/advocacy roles.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strategic thinker with proactive approach.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and evaluate California advocacy programs and initiatives.
• Develop, coordinate, and learn statewide networks of coalitions/leaders.
• Oversee consultants’ deliverables and advocacy outputs.
• Engage with California's political, electoral, and legal landscape impacting public investments for youth.
