Job summary

Automation Services in Earth City, MO is seeking a dependable Instrumentation Test Technician to join our team onsite. The role focuses on testing process control instrumentation with pressure calibrators and gauges to verify operation and manufacturer specs.

You will document results, follow safety and quality procedures, and work with the Testing Lead and operations team to maintain equipment readiness.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Ability to learn company-specific software and inventory systems.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Knowledge of process controls and industrial instrumentation preferred.
Previous experience with testing, calibration, or measurement equipment preferred. Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Test process control instrumentation using pressure calibrators, gauges, and other testing equipment.
Verify instruments are functioning properly and within manufacturer specifications.
Identify equipment that does not meet required testing standards or tolerances.
Properly handle instrumentation and materials to prevent damage.
Accurately document testing results and equipment status.
Utilize the company's automated inventory control system.
Follow established safety, quality, and testing procedures.
Work closely with the Testing Lead, Warehouse Manager, Teardown Supervisor, and processing personnel.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
