Job summary

Abbott Park, Illinois, seeks a Calibration Technician II for a 12‑month, 100% onsite assignment. You will calibrate, maintain, service, and troubleshoot MTE and control systems across manufacturing, QA, and R&D, ensuring GMP/GLP compliance.

The role requires hands‑on electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and process control skills; you will read schematics, document in Maximo CMMS, and collaborate with multiple departments to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Hands-on calibration, maintenance, and repair of MTE in a regulated setting.
• Ability to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Experience with CMMS/Maximo for work orders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on MTE and control systems.
• Analyze data to determine corrective actions and verify performance against specs.
• Support installation, startup, validation, and calibration of new equipment.
