Abbott is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Technician - Intermediate to support on-site operations in St. Paul, MN. You will work closely with engineers on setup, calibration, rework, and quality testing across production for parts and assemblies.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent plus 3-5 years of related work experience or equivalent combination.
• Two-year degree or some college credits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including set-up and calibration tasks, as well as rework and quality testing related to production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
• Identifies and implements corrective actions for manufacturing related issues.
• Performs equipment setup and preventive and calibration maintenance as necessary.
• Installs and validates equipment and processes in production to improve yield or reduce cycle time following validation procedures.
• Evaluates operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
