Job summary

The Calibration Solution, an ATS company, is seeking a Calibration Technician for a full-time position to be based at the lab Machesney Park, IL. The role involves calibrating mechanical inspection, measuring, and testing equipment and may require on-site work at customer locations.

You will work with other technicians, or independently on projects, and must be a self-starter with good verbal and written communication skills and computer proficiency. Travel to customer sites is required.

Qualifications

• Calibration of mechanical inspection equipment is required.
• Experience handling hardness testers and tensile testers is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate mechanical inspection, measuring and testing equipment.
• Operate hardness testers, optical comparators, surface plates, and tensile testers.
• Use torque drivers, torque wrenches and torque analyzers during calibration.
• Calibrate pressure gauges, temperature equipment and force measurement devices.
