Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Staff Calibration Technician to perform accurate and timely calibrations for customer equipment in both laboratory and on-site settings. This 3rd shift role emphasizes ISO 17025 conformity and process improvement within the Calibration Services Laboratory.

The candidate will interpret calibration results, support audits, and help maintain accreditation while adhering to corporate policies and quality systems. Travel is limited to under 20%.

Qualifications

• In laboratory calibration experience.
• Associate degree in a technical discipline plus 3 years of experience in electrical measurement OR formal calibration training plus 4 years of experience in electrical measurement calibration.
• Knowledge of ISO 17025.
• <20 % Travel

Responsibilities

• Perform calibrations on customer equipment in the laboratory as well as at their site.
• Support the maintenance of our ISO 17025 accreditation.
• Support the development and implementation of processes used in the Calibration Services Laboratory.
• Adhere to our Quality Management System and ISO 17025.
• Adhere to all NI Corporate policies.
• Provide interpretations of calibration results.
• Participate during internal and external audits.
• Assist in review and technical analysis on laboratory nonconformance.
• Support the performance of routine maintenance, inter-laboratory comparison and intermediate check of Laboratory equipment

Education
